United Way Shoebox Project

Each year, individuals and companies throughout the metro area donate shoeboxes filled with toiletries to the United Way Shoebox Project to be given to homeless women and children. This will be Destiny Atlanta's 4th year participating in this project. Help us break last year's record of 100 shoeboxes by donating new, unopened toiletries and shoeboxes. Donations will be accepted through May 1st and can be given to Sabrina Gilbert, Natasha Freeman, or JoAnne Stewart

As a family we are sacrificing all beverages except water during Lent. That's water only from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday. In addition, each person should pick one other thing to fast from. Choose something that is a sacrifice and that you feel keeps you from the fullness of Christ.

Congratulations Todd Mitchell from your Destiny family!

We commend our very own, Mr. Todd Mitchell, for receiving the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Atlanta Committee Chair of the Year award for 2010. He was selected out of all of the BOMA Committee Chairpersons for this honor. This award is designed to show appreciation to an outstanding committee chair. The award recognizes job performance as committee chair, ethics, credibility, professionalism, team building, ability to lead and influence the committee, and support of BOMA during the past year.

Mr. Mitchell has been an asset to the Destiny World Church Atlanta since its inception by serving in numerous roles to ensure the vision is brought to past. Todd is a family man who loves his wife and 2 wonderful daughters.
